If you aren't a fan of Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series or a poster to rec.arts.sf.written.robert-jordan, explaining what a Warder is can be rather difficult. You can call them henchmen if you like, since it is part of their sworn duty to kick ass in defense of their Aes Sedai, but really, there's much more to it than that.

Of course, there aren't really Aes Sedai or Warders, but that doesn't alter the affinity and love we have for each other - a trust, respect and affection that we all should be so lucky to have in all of our friends. Our Bond is a formal declaration of our care and trust. I think I'm very lucky to have these five, so I've made a page for each of them, and have included other relevant links:
