February 5th and 6th, 1999 Indianapolis and Toledo
"Hey, Maggie! What do you think about me coming to visit you?"
"Well, Noell, that sounds like fun! Kenn is planning to come in February, why don't you come then and we can hang out."
"Oh! I'd love to meet Kenn! Maybe we can convince Drew to come too!"
"If we're going to ask Drew, we might as well ask everyone else and call it a Social, don't you think?"
And thus the Toledo DFS was born. It took a turn I hadn't expected, namely the trip to Indianapolis to see the incomparable Mark and Deb Loy, and started a little earlier than originally planned, but did we ever have fun!
In attendance, besides myself and hubby Mark, were Kenn Cavness, Curt Fisher, Drew Gillmore, Steve Ginter, Paul Householder, Mark, Deb and Jen Loy and Noell Milota, with appearances by Eric Loy and Alex and Ernie Brazeau. Not bad for my first shot at hosting!
I know, I know. "Get to the damned pictures already, whydontcha?" OK, here they are, and I haven't changed any names to protect the innocent because...well...there aren't any innocents!
