Cedar Point, in Sandusky, Ohio, is easily one of my favorite places on the planet, with 14 roller coasters to keep even the worst coaster junkie busy for hours.
This year's Cedar Point Social was held September 1st through 4th - Labor Day weekend, and the weekend of my 30th birthday (Sept. 3) - and was attended by Kenn Cavness and Madhu Natarajan (Chicago), Ken Gerrard (Winnipeg), Steve Ginter (Buffalo) and Anne Willick (Birmingham, MI). Mark also went along, though you won't find him in the pages, as he's the guy who took the pictures.
I had such a wonderful time with the Darkfriends, it was the most fun I've had on my birthday in years! The weekend was quite adventurous (just ask Steve!), we were exhausted - and I can't wait to do it all over again (minus Steve's car trouble, of course.)
I'm the only one to have written a Social Report, though the rest of the gang commented on it, and there are some pictures taken on Monday morning. Anne had already deserted us by then *pout*, so we'll have to get her pic next time!
