Loads of fun, and I'm glad I took the time off work to go. Beyond that, my sleep-deprived brain can't really think of much to say that others won't say more coherently (except that since I was the only non-Cavnessian person to see Kenn's apartment, it probably falls to me to say that it's really nice -- the high-ceilinged, hardwood-floored, open, spacious, and bright apartment of yuppie dreams). Anyway, I do want to add a few riders onto Jeff's report: >group, I collapsed in a small corner from sheer exhaustion >(been a busy last few days in lab). Everyone else was up until, um, about 5 AM on Friday night; Jeff was sleeping through loud and raucous conversation. On a "bed" composed of three dining chairs pulled together. He did this on Saturday night, too, except that at about 4 AM the conversation woke him up, whereupon he said, "Well, it's about time for me to be getting up anyway." And he meant it. He actually _stayed up_ from 4 AM on, even after everyone else went off to sleep at 5:30-ish. (And, because he'd woken people up the previous morning typing, we'd forbidden him to use the computer, so he had to do his lab work on his Palm Pilot.) I occasionally wonder if med school makes people like this, or merely selects for people who are already like this. >filled insanity.
